Issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on 1 July 2007 as a bearer cheque, valid on or before 30 June 2008 and signed by Governor Gideon Gono. The front is mostly text, with the bank's emblem on the left. The back shows a group of elephants at a waterhole, one with its trunk raised. Bearer cheques were issued in place of conventional banknotes as inflation escalated.
