Issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on 1 July 2007 as a bearer cheque, valid on or before 30 June 2008 and signed by Governor Gideon Gono. The front is mostly text, with the bank's emblem on the left. The back pictures a coal-fired power station with tall chimneys and cooling towers. Bearer cheques stood in for conventional banknotes as inflation accelerated through 2007.
