Issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on 1 August 2006 as a bearer cheque, valid on or before 31 July 2007 and signed by Governor Gideon Gono. The front is mostly text, with the bank's emblem on the left. The back shows the conical tower at Great Zimbabwe framed by trees. Bearer cheques were used in place of conventional banknotes as inflation escalated in the years after 2003.
