Issued by the National Bank of Yugoslavia in 1993, this note shows a portrait of a young man, a design reused from earlier lower denominations, beside the bank's monogram. The back shows traditional wooden buildings with steep roofs in a snowy mountain setting. Such values were needed as the hyperinflation of 1992 to 1994 drove prices ever higher.
