Issued by the National Bank of Yugoslavia in 1992, this note shows the writer Ivo Andrić (1892 to 1975), winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1961, beside the bank's monogram. The back pictures the long multi-arched stone bridge over the Drina at Višegrad, the subject of his best-known novel, with the town on the hillside behind.
