Issued in 1944 by Democratic Federal Yugoslavia, the state formed by Tito's partisan movement during the Second World War. One side shows a partisan soldier in a cap, framed by the names of the constituent lands including Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia. The other side carries the value in several languages and scripts beside the early state emblem of torches beneath a star.
