Issued by the National Bank of Yugoslavia in 1993, this 100 million dinara note shows a portrait of a young man in an open-necked shirt beside the bank's monogram. The back pictures the ornate facade of a large domed building. Notes of this size were a product of the 1992 to 1994 hyperinflation, one of the most severe ever recorded, when at its peak prices doubled roughly every day and a half.
