Issued by the Banco Central de Venezuela in 2020 as one of the new higher denominations added to the bolívar soberano series during continuing hyperinflation. The front shows a portrait of Simón Bolívar beside a row of stars. The back pictures the Mausoleum of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in Caracas, its tall curved form beside the older National Pantheon. In 2021 the currency was redenominated again, removing a further six zeros.
