A 10-bolívar note from the Banco Central de Venezuela's 2018 bolívar soberano series, dated 15 January 2018. The front shows a portrait of a man in a high-collared uniform against a faint map. The back shows a giant anteater, captioned 'oso palmero', with streaks of lightning in the sky, referring to the Ciénaga de Juan Manuel national park and the Catatumbo lightning. The bolívar soberano replaced the bolívar fuerte in August 2018 at a rate of 100,000 to one.
