A 20-lira note from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's ninth emission series, introduced in 2009. The front shows Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with a large star motif. The back shows the architect Mimar Kemaleddin (1870 to 1927), named on the note, beside one of his arcaded buildings. Kemaleddin was a leading figure of the First National Architectural Movement, which drew on Ottoman forms for the buildings of the early Republic.
