A 100,000-lira note issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 1997, a later variety of the 1991 design with different signatures. The front shows Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with a statue of him on a rearing horse. The back shows Atatürk accepting a bouquet of flowers from a group of children. Inflation continued to erode the lira until six zeros were removed in the 2005 revaluation.
