A 100,000-lira note issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 1991, under the legal clause of Law No. 1211 of 14 January 1970. The front shows Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with a statue of him on a rearing horse. The back shows Atatürk accepting a bouquet of flowers from a group of children. The large denomination reflects the high inflation that Turkey experienced from the 1980s until the currency was revalued in 2005.
