10 lira
Turkey · 1982
A 10-lira note issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 1982, under the legal clause of Law No. 1211 of 14 January 1970. The front shows Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with a medallion of two children's heads in the centre. The back shows Atatürk leaning down to accept a bouquet of flowers from a group of schoolchildren. High inflation in the following years soon made such small values of little use.
