A 10-lira note from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, of a design introduced in 1966; this example carries the legal clause of Law No. 1211 of 14 January 1970. The front shows Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, with an ornate floral border. The back shows the Maiden's Tower on its islet in the Bosphorus, with the domes and minarets of Istanbul's skyline beyond.
