A 50-rouble 'kupon' note issued by the Pridnestrovian Bank of Transnistria, dated 1993, with the bank's name in Moldovan, Russian and Ukrainian. The front shows an equestrian statue of a horseman on a rearing horse, the monument to General Suvorov in Tiraspol. The back shows the government building in Tiraspol framed by trees. The breakaway region began issuing its own currency in 1994 after separating from Moldova.
