A 5-rouble 'kupon' note issued by the Pridnestrovian Bank of Transnistria, dated 1994, with the bank's name in Moldovan, Russian and Ukrainian. The front shows a portrait of the Russian general Alexander Suvorov, named on the note, wearing his decorations. The back shows the government building in Tiraspol framed by trees. These notes were issued by the unrecognised breakaway region of Moldova after it declared independence in 1990.
