A 10-rouble note from the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan, dated 1994. The front shows the state emblem, with a crown, stars and ears of wheat and cotton, beside ornate floral panels. The back shows the parliament building in Dushanbe with the national flag flying above it. Tajikistan introduced its own rouble in 1995, replacing the Russian rouble, and replaced it in turn with the somoni in 2000.
