Issued by the Bank of Somaliland, this note shows the bank's head office building in Hargeisa on the front and livestock being loaded onto a ship at the port of Berbera on the back. Somaliland declared independence from Somalia in 1991 and introduced its own shilling in 1994, though it remains internationally unrecognised.
