A 25 roubles note of the State Bank of the USSR from the 1961 series, introduced with the currency reform of that year. One side shows a profile portrait of Vladimir Lenin in an oval, with the state emblem and the value in Russian. The other side gives the value in the languages of the fifteen Soviet republics, beside a radiating pattern and the letters 'СССР'. The design stayed in use until 1991.
