A 1 chervonets note of the State Bank of the USSR, dated 1937. The front shows a portrait of Vladimir Lenin and the state emblem of the Soviet Union, with the value in Russian. The back gives the value in several languages of the Soviet republics around a large numeral 1. The chervonets, worth ten roubles, was issued for larger payments and remained in use until the reform of 1947.
