A 10,000-ticket note from MMM, Sergei Mavrodi's pyramid scheme, dated 1994 and printed with his engraved portrait under the name С. МАВРОДИ. The tickets were sold as shares in the company and were meant to rise in value, until the scheme collapsed in 1994 and millions of Russians lost their savings.
