A 5000-rouble note issued by the Bank of Russia in 1993. One side shows the Kremlin Senate building with the Russian tricolour flying above its dome, and the other shows towers of the Kremlin wall with buildings rising behind. It belongs to the 1993 series issued soon after the break-up of the Soviet Union, when high inflation pushed the rouble into ever larger denominations.
