A 50 chon foreign exchange certificate issued by the Foreign Trade Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, showing the national arms on the front and a large ornate denomination numeral on the back. Such certificates were introduced in 1988 for use by foreign visitors, who had to spend them in place of ordinary won.
