A 5 won note from the Central Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, dated 1978. The front shows a male factory worker holding a book beside a gear wheel and a woman farmer carrying a sheaf of grain, with factories and fields behind them and the national emblem at the left. The back shows the jagged granite peaks of Mount Kumgang, the Diamond Mountains, rising above mist and pine trees.
