A 10 chon foreign exchange note issued in 1988 by the Foreign Trade Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Notes like this were given to foreign visitors in exchange for hard currency and were meant for use in special shops. The front shows the national emblem, with a hydroelectric dam beneath a red star, and a large numeral in a rosette. The back carries the value only.
