A 10 kyats note from the Union of Burma Bank, issued in 1973. The front shows General Aung San, the leader of Burma's independence movement, in military uniform and cap, framed by ornate foliage, with the value in Burmese script. The back shows an elaborate ceremonial bowl on a stand decorated with figures, set in a decorative oval, beside a large numeral 10 and the value in English.
