A 1 tögrög note from the Bank of Mongolia, dated 2008, continuing the design first introduced in 1993. The front shows a mythical lion, or snow lion, inside a circular frame, with an inscription in traditional Mongolian script. The back shows the national emblem, which includes the Soyombo symbol, within a fine geometric pattern, with 'Монгол Улс' and 'Монголбанк' in Cyrillic. The tögrög has been Mongolia's currency since 1925.
