A 20 francs note issued by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 1955, signed for the state treasury and the Minister of Finance. The front shows a portrait of Grand Duchess Charlotte, wearing pearls, who reigned from 1919 to 1964. The back shows a village with a church spire on the bank of a river, with vineyards in the foreground and wooded hills rising behind, a typical scene of Luxembourg's wine-growing valley.
