A 5000 livres note from the Banque du Liban's series first issued in 2012. The front shows the cedar tree, the national emblem, beside a grid of interlocking squares and the value written in French. The back is dominated by a large Arabic numeral 5000, with the bank's name in Arabic calligraphy, a small cedar and the signatures of the governor and first vice-governor. Raised dots help blind users identify the value.
