A 25 livres note from the Banque du Liban, part of a series printed by Thomas De La Rue and issued between 1964 and 1983. The front shows the Crusader Sea Castle at Sidon, built on a small island and joined to the shore by a stone causeway. The back shows a ruined medieval fort perched on a rocky outcrop in a mountain valley, with a stone bridge in the foreground.
