20000 rials
Iran · 2014
Undated 20,000 rials note issued by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, showing a portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini on the front and the historic windcatchers of Abarkuh on the back. Part of the long-running post-revolutionary series, it was printed in large quantities as high inflation steadily eroded the value of the rial.
