200 rials
Iran · 1982
A 200 rials note from Bank Markazi Iran, issued from 1982 after the Islamic Revolution. The front shows the Jameh Mosque of Yazd, with its tall twin minarets above the entrance portal and a tiled dome, beside a spray of tulips. The back shows farmers working a field with hoes alongside a tractor, with village buildings and hills behind. The farming scene is captioned with the name of the Construction Jihad, the post-revolutionary rural development organisation.
