Back

Issued by the Bank of Guyana and printed by De La Rue. The front shows the national coat of arms and Kaieteur Falls, one of the world's highest single-drop waterfalls, on the Potaro River. The back shows a ship under construction in a shipyard and the ferry vessel Malali at a quayside, both named on the note. Guyana has used its own dollar since 1965, the year before independence from Britain.
