Emergency money from Zell im Wiesental, a small town in the Wiese valley of the southern Black Forest, dated 1 October 1921 and valid until a month after its recall was announced in the local paper, the Oberländer Tagespost. The lettered side carries the town arms and a woman in local costume. The picture side shows a young goatherd with his goats on a hillside, a tower on the summit behind. The collection has four scenes from this set: the goatherd, the valley view, the farmhouse and the charcoal burners.
