City of Wernigerode · Germany · 1920
A Notgeld (emergency money) voucher issued by the town of Wernigerode in the Harz during the post-war coin shortage. The other side shows witches riding broomsticks over the hills towards the Brocken summit on Walpurgis Night, above a silhouette of the town.
