A 1921 Notgeld voucher from the savings bank of Twistringen in Lower Saxony, printed by G. Hunckel of Bremen. The reverse shows the town's church against a rising sun above fields of straw sheaves, with a Low German motto meaning 'if our straw goes out into the whole world, then all is well with Twistringen', a reference to the town's renowned straw-processing industry.
