Notgeld (emergency money) issued in September 1921 by the Stadtbank of Striegau in Silesia (now Strzegom, Poland), designed by Bruno Handke and printed by F.A. Brockhaus of Leipzig, commemorating the Battle of Hohenfriedberg (Striegau) of 4 June 1745. One side shows the Gühle memorial to the fallen Saxon and Austrian soldiers, with a Thermopylae-style epitaph; the other shows a silhouette of Frederick the Great flanked by a Prussian drummer and standard-bearer.
