A German Notgeld (Serienschein) issued by the town of Rietberg in Westphalia and redeemable at the town savings bank. The front shows a figure beside a statue of St John Nepomuk with a starry halo, accompanied by a Low German verse, and the back depicts the St Johannes chapel near Rietberg. It was printed by Ad. Essich & Co. of Oldenburg during the collectors' Notgeld boom of the early 1920s.
