A Notgeld (emergency money) voucher issued by the town council of Ranis in Thuringia, dated 1 July 1921 and printed by Wiedemannsche Druckerei of Saalfeld. It shows the town's crowned lion arms and a rhyming motto about saving every day, with a view of Burg Ranis above the town on the other side.
