A 50 pfennig Notgeld (emergency money) voucher issued by the town of Plau in Mecklenburg and redeemable until 31 March 1922. The front bears the town arms framed by ears of wheat, and the back shows a fisherman in a boat before the town church, designed by Ludwig Düwahl, with a Low German verse joking that if the lake were milk, the Elde beer and the Klüschenberg sugar, no more emergency money would be needed.
