A serienschein notgeld note from the small Thuringian town of Lobeda near Jena. The front shows the town church behind trees against a rising sun, and the back shows the ruined castle tower, a knight and a Madonna, with a rhyme recalling the once mighty lords of Lobeda. It belongs to the collectors' emergency money issued across Germany during the post-war inflation.
