A Notgeld (emergency money) note from the town of Lenzen on the Elbe in the Westprignitz district, printed by Gebr. Parcus of Munich, showing the town arms with towered gateway and eagle between two ornate 75 denomination cartouches, and a note that Lenzen was first recorded in 929. The other side carries a portrait of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, the 'father of gymnastics' (Turnvater), born in nearby Lanz, with a short verse; such collector-oriented series notes were issued widely across Germany in the early 1920s.
