Serial Notgeld (emergency money) issued by the town of Arnstadt in Thuringia in 1921 and designed by the artist A. Paul Weber, with a large denomination over a heraldic eagle on the front and the historic Schwarzburger Hof framed by ornate scrollwork on the back. Notes like this were issued during Germany's post-war coin shortage and were widely collected at the time, so many survive in excellent condition.
