Issued by the Badische Bank, the note-issuing bank of the German state of Baden, dated 1 December 1922 as inflation was spiralling. Regional banks like this were still allowed to issue their own notes alongside the Reichsbank's. This is series A, with a watermark of a woman's head and the letters CFM.
