A 50 Reichsmark note dated Berlin, 30 March 1933, issued under the Bank Act of 30 August 1924. The front shows a portrait of David Hansemann, the 19th-century banker and Prussian finance minister, named beneath the portrait. The back shows a classical head with snakes in a large medallion, flanked by two cherubs, one holding scales and one writing in a book. The Reichsmark replaced the inflation-era mark in 1924.
