A Reichsbank 50 mark note dated 30 November 1918, with the denomination in ornate script inside a scrolled cartouche on the front and a large '50' beside an ornamental wreath framing a blank oval on the back. It was issued in the turbulent weeks after the Armistice and was later swept away by the hyperinflation of the early 1920s.
