A uniface Reichsbanknote for twenty milliarden (twenty thousand million) mark dated Berlin, 1 October 1923, printed in green on a faint orange eagle underprint with the Reichsbankdirektorium signatures and Reichsbank seals. It is a vivid relic of the Weimar Republic's hyperinflation, when ever-larger denominations were rushed into circulation before the currency was replaced by the Rentenmark in November 1923.
