A 20 mark Reichsbank note dated Berlin, 4 November 1915, issued during the First World War. The front shows two muscular figures with overflowing horns of coins either side of a large 20 over the imperial eagle. The back shows a young man with a cloth over his shoulder and a woman resting her head on her hands beneath a starry sky with a crescent moon. Wartime issues like this marked the start of the mark's long decline.
