A Reichsbank 20 mark note of the German Empire dated 7 February 1908, with ornate Gothic lettering, the imperial eagle and a large decorative monogram on the front, and an elaborate guilloche rosette around the denomination on the back. Issued before the First World War, it circulated during the Kaiserreich era before post-war inflation destroyed the value of the mark.
