Germany · 1923

Issued by the Reichsbank and dated 25 July 1923, printed on one side only. The front carries the value in large bold lettering with two eagle seals and the directors' signatures. The text states that the note could be called in from 1 September 1923. It was issued at the height of the hyperinflation, which ended in November 1923 when the Rentenmark replaced the paper mark at one trillion to one.
